Schmidty Weekend!

A Look at our Schmidty Weekend! 

Hi friend, Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! 

For so many of us Monday mornings can be tough. For me, it's not that I dislike going to work, it's that I just enjoy our family-filled weekends so much that it's hard to go back to the busy-ness of the week. 

We had a great weekend! It sounds so cheesy, but we really did spend a lot of this weekend making family memories. We spent Friday evening with some extended family that were visiting. 

Saturday, we hung around the house in our PJs, and then ended up having to take Brayden to the doctor. He has a double ear infection. I knew he wasn't feeling well when he greeted both the nurse and the doctor saying "my ears hurt!" Bless his heart!

Anyways, we got him fixed up with some medicine, and then spent the afternoon napping and snuggling. Is there anything better than a family-wide afternoon nap?!

Then Saturday night, TJ and I got to go out for a date night! My high-school class held our 10 year reunion at our local baseball field. We got to take a swing in the batting cages. And best of all we had plenty of wine and hangs with good friends!

Sunday we decided to go to the beach with some family. It was such a perfect beach day! The kids had such a blast playing in the sand. This was really Skyler's first experience at the beach, since the last time she was at the beach she was only a few months old. She was so adorable in her little bathing suit. 😍

We spent the rest of the weekend just relaxing and getting ready for the week ahead.
